Kris Bryant MVP Card

What’s the feel from you guys on this card? I loved his gold card but do not want to drop 85-90K stubs to get him. What do you think his price will come down to?

By November/ December he should be about 20/25k when they have all the headliners in a bundle. As for right now no less then 50/60k and will see what happens when the (Honus) set is comes out on the 28th.

Ughhh that’s what I was fearful of. No chance I’m playing this game come winter time. I’d be fine dropping $50-60K for him but his price right now just seems outrageous. Also doesn’t help that he’s my favorite player. Maybe a stub sale will come along haha!

Sorry to say this but a stub sale will only drive his price upwards. Honestly though that's what I'm waiting on so I can sell Trout and go after Bryant and a few others. Best of luck I hear it's a great card.

If he is your favorite player you gotta drop the stubs. I spent a ton on mr cub because he is my favorite. I cant take these stubs to the grave so I had to pick him up.

That’s a good point. I was at $60K last night. Got a good deal on Wieters and needed to upgrade over Sanchez. Could always sell him and grind for a couple weeks and have enough to get him. Would also love Ernie. I’ve got an autographed picture of him hanging in my office. I can’t seem to get the guy out when I face him.

That’s really cool! I am jealous you have that memorabilia. I am keeping my eye on some ernie bobble heads that I want for my desk. Just can’t seem to find ones I like.
In regards to Ernie...I cant hit with him but man it is fun using him. I make em look awful but I try.

Last I checked when I played earlier he dropped a bit to 80ish thousand. Still expensive but probably well worth it. My only problem is where I’d put him. Have Ortiz at first, Sandberg at 3rd, Jackie at 2nd, Belli, Trout and Biggio. So I’d hate to spend the stubs and he only be a bench bat. But all the other starters have been so good for me so far.

Bryant is back up to almost 100k. I did great with him initially, having some trouble lately. But that may just be user error. I have been sucking this past week.
Been thinking about selling him, but probably won't. Once I get good again, he will probably rake for me.

If he is your favorite player and you like his live series gold, then I recommend buying him. He's a stud and you would enjoy playing with him!
