Power swing on rookie vs the orioles is basically an automatic hr so it would take like 5 hours to get a card prestiged lol

You mean like the people who had the new FoTF prestiged in a matter of hours in the event? I really don’t see the difference. This isn’t the same math as we had in 18, where the grinds were by position, being specific to a player means even offline it will take a long time (likely far longer than the give me hr and I’ll quit crowd) and if you are trying to prestige several players at once you will likely be better off playing out games than quitting, which will take even longer. Finally, who cares. It is highly likely that you are never going to play against the person who plays offline anyways.

I hit a hr off Chapman in the event with Biggio guy dashboards. It was a back and forth game really fun it’s just sucks too many people don’t let hrs land.

It has been mentioned many times, but the requirements dont have to be the same. 2-3x the stats for offline, or only allowing offline prestige to be on higher difficulties.
This constant handwringing over how quickly players would get them done is stupid anyway. It already happens online in events.

The purpose of the event is to win the game and accumulate rewards. If You get the wins why does it ruin the event for you?

But also, going by your logic, why would anyone care about a +3 for online either? It's only +3, who cares?
If you were building a card and gave it plus 3 to every stat the overall boost to the player would be much kore than 3 overall. In RS a player who has Better stats plays better. Mindless conquest games that your going to win anyways makes little difference in the end result

I don't really care about winning or rewards, I want to play a game of baseball, and sometimes i don't have the time or patience for a 9 inning RS slog.

There should always be a 3 inning mode where you can use your full squad. Or 6 inning game with quick counts. I have the same issue where you don’t have the time or focus to lock into a 9 inning game. Events are guys looking for easy wins or stats so i agree it’s not fun for that purpose. Or bc it’s on ball of fame

Wrong. The purpose of the event is to help prestige cards considering its easier to hit and quicker to play more games. Only losers grind for 100 wins in 5 days. -

I use events to grind TA innings and prestige player's, but I don't just hit or pitch and quit. But that's not the problem.
The problem is people dashboarding on the 3 run shot by Sheffield that doesn't count because of people with Anger Management Issues!! LolIt may not be anger management. If you throw my prestige guys nothing to hit when I am grinding them (ie I don’t care about wins, so I’m not taking the walk), I may not let yours get stats either.
Truthfully I try to stay close to zone, but if I see you're just throwing junk I will do it also. I'm not asking for meatballs and I'm not trying to take a walk in events. I don't care about winning event games either. Lol

I play mostly offline and will just not worry about the prestige cards..not like I need them in order to beat the CPU anyhow.
