With it being somewhat of a slow week in the game, we are bringing back listener questions to The GoodOkay Podcast.
Ask us anything below, MLB the Show related, baseball related, or just completely off-topic and we will get to as many as we can in this week’s episode.

Should Alternate Jerseys be required for Home Teams after Labor Day?

If you’re familiar with madden and them using a point cap system in competitive play. Do you think this could be viable mode in the show? Maybe have a cap ranked season

To clarify to anyone that’s doesn’t know. In madden they have a salary cap mode. Every player is assigned a number value. You can’t exceed the number value with your team. This means you’ll have to make tough choices to fill out you’re roster. Do you field a bunch of gold players, do you use a ton of cap salary on you’re favorite diamond card. It’s similar to BR but instead of drafting you’d be able to pick through cards you own. Also instead of playing one round you can play an entire season plugging and playing

Gotcha, I do have some MUT experience and I recall this feature. It’s like an overall cap basically right, but in terms of “salary”? IIRC, not all players with the same overall had the same salary, right? How did that work?

I'm still annoyed that we can't use locked cards (specifically old diamonds) in TA exchanges. In FIFA's FUT (the ultimate cash grab of all cash grabs) they still allow you to use "no sell" cards in Squad Battle Challenges (exchanges) to put towards a specific card.
Any thoughts on some creative ways something like this could be implemented next year? I feel like this discussion should continue for the benefit of the community. Especially the deeper we go into this year's game where our no sell cards continue to add up... to basically nothing. -
Do you think they will make TA stage 4 no sell rewards and none of those cards show up on the market? I mean that's pretty likely right? So keep grinding?

I listened to this for the first time today because I am all caught up on chiclets. I was pleasantly surprised. Subscribed via spotify and look forward to adding more versatility to my rotation.

Somewhat correct. In madden certain abilities or quirks can raise over the cap number on a player. Also value of position, such as a 90 overall QB might have A higher cap number than a 90 over all DT or O-lineman.

Is there any way for older people (30+) to be able to hit? Following pitches and picking up spin is just not possible at our old age!And... Pizza makes me poooop!
