So basically they had Rivera starting and pitching and they just did the slide step with him constantly even with nobody on

You know slide steps gives a HUGE advantage to the hitter right? They gave you a gift. Really hard to throw anything you want consistently while slide stepping. That is why guys like to get guys on base and tease they will steal. Even if they have no intention. Just to get the pitcher to slide step. Then boom! Ball goes 450ft.

The slide step is a strategy used in the real game of baseball so I don’t have too much of an issue other than it can be annoying at times. Cueto is an example of this even with no one on
The bunt dancing though is something that I think needs to be fixed. I would like to see them implement a limit to the number of times you can hit triangle, say 2 times. The first time you can show bunt, pull back and still swing (slash) and the second time your locked in and forced to bunt. This can still be a drag bunt animation on the second time, but if your spamming triangle you get locked in. And if it’s a ball or you don’t want to bunt, you hit triangle again to take the pitch. If you hit it by accident a second time you can still call time and reset like in a normal ab.

Great idea, it also needs to take into account that taking a lead with only the runner on second requires you to press triangle to lead only with that runner, and online there is no warm up swing animation like in offline, so it’s unavoidable that it would show bunt anytime triangle is pressed to increase that runner’s lead.
Example: runners on 2nd and 3rd 0 or 1 out, you want to increase the lead of the runner on 2nd but not the runner on 3rd. Need to press tri to do that.
