Keep running into...

... these lil ‘b*stards that just bunt, steal over and over. They keep switching pitchers and throw 90% balls... just enough to keep you off kilter. Also, they step off the mound, step out of the box, quick pitch, flash bunting 100 times as you pitch, hold R2 or flash it and pause play the whole game! It is quite annoying and has paired me up with one 3 out of last 4 games.
Getting pissed! It ruins the spirit of the game and makes me endure a game I don’t wanna play, or take a loss to someone who is a low life!
What gives? -

It’s not small ball when everything else I mentioned is going on. The constant pausing and stepping off mound, etc... all the tactics to make you wanna quit the game. Stalling to pitch, riding r2. Just the whole point of the opponent is to be as annoying as possible

Seems like every game I’ve played this year in ranked seasons has been a hold R2 festival. It annoys me because the games take a long time to play as it is, then you have some jackass holding R2 the whole time your trying to pitch.
I wish there was a quick counts mode that we could play in ranked seasons. I could start off with 2 strikes every time and be happy since the game would be so much faster.

I flip cards while I play. If I run into a constant pauser, I pause when they come back and refresh my buy and sell orders for a minute or two and come back. I also hum Zach Brown's song "Ain't In No Hurry" while the game is paused.

"Small ball" is a strategy used by guys in this game that can't hit that take advantage of the poor bunt fielding mechanics that have been in this game for about 6 years

I'm sorry but if you have shite fielders and i have someone with 99 bunting i will most likely bunt and get on base. in the events if i have jackie or biggio at bat and i'm facing a tough pitcher and i see mark reynolds at 3rd base, why the hell wouldn't i bunt?

In 200 ranked games i may have ran into this 10 times total. It doesnt feel as often for me personally.

Because Biggio and JR are good hitters and you can get a lot more if you knew how to swing the bat. I see your point if you have a guy that isnt as good of a hitter, but with some of the best in the game that is just silly.
