Just faced him for the first time. Stuff wasn’t overpowering but dude throws a 70mph change up that makes the 93 FB look like 98. And his slider is filthy, looks like FB and then just drops off the table. I think he can definitely be a very usable card after being meh on him initially.

Haven’t used him this year, but last year he was very on and off for me. I never threw a decent game with him, it was either a 1 run 3 hit CG or he was gone by the 3rd inning.

I used Marichal a lot early in the game last year. And he’d be good against low level players. Then against better players he’d pitch good for 4-5 innings but after the first 3 innings the op would start squaring the ball up. Then against a great player it would be 2 innings and a ton of runs given up. If your like me and don’t plan on making WS or never made WS in ranked seasons... and play for fun. I would definitely love using this card. I’m not 100% sure but it looks like he’s got better stats on this years card than last years
