One thing that really gets to me daily on gameplay is when there’s a bouncer in the hole, and the game gives me control of the OF and not the IF who could easily get to the ball.
I don’t remember this being such a massive issue in the past, but this is rly getting under my skin lately.
That’s all. Cheers

I just wonder how Mickey mantle hits a hanging change up with a little pull and it’s a fly out, yet biggio is late on a fastball and drills it. Seems like mlb 17 is back in some way.

The CPU Initial choice of the defender you control has been off all year. I start moving one way thinking I might lock in to a certain player and I end up running away from the call because they chose someone else.

This is extremely frustrating

Wait until next year. Might be all auto fielding by then. Its slowly coming. Baserunning, fielding and throwing are getting more cpu controlled every year.
And here are some of us asking for manual controls instead of assist.

Auto fielding would suck. I remember playing a few games back in the day without the location of the ball’s landing on a fly ball. That sh!t was insane without the proper camera chosen

Or when you’re winning, your opponent gets weak contact, your fielders make an error, and sure enough the next pitch ends up down the middle and blasted for a HR

I loved manual controls in MVP Baseball. Sometimes your opponent would have the catch assist circle turned off and you had to catch flyballs like you mentioned. I usually didnt play with that off, but it was fun to do from time to time.

Ive given up multiple extra base hits by thinking I was controlling my infielder and instead it's an outfielder that I take out of position.
