Event rewards

it's prime 1 event which basically confirms a second prime event which could be on all star.. then rewards may get cheaper

Those cards will be 10k. They buns.
It’s not about how good they are.
Uhhh yeah it is. Nobody needs these cards on their squad, meaning they'll sell them. Meaning low prices.
Cheap now. Expensive later when there is a Honus collection which could be any day now.
I would rather buy the cards from the market if i dont have enough of their category instead of grind this buns event for these buns rewards.
That attitude is exactly why they could potentially be more costly. If people don't want to grind because it's hall of fame, fewer people will go after it. Same thing happened with Lofton and McGriff. Those cards weren't that great when they came out and they were fairly expensive. It was because people didn't want to grind 6 inning event games.
It has nothing to do with being on Hall of Fame. I would rather attempt World Series for one of those rewards. I have two lofton's and two mcgriff's and they are both worth about 10K each so stop with your nonsense.
I feel like you missed the point. It might have nothing to do with HoF for you, but for others, having it on HoF is a deterrent. Whatever the reason, if more people are deterred from doing the event, it will limit supply which means rewards will be more expensive than they otherwise would have been. If you had applied these exact same awards to the moonshot event, I bet you prices would've been lower on average because more people were interested in playing that event.
You're quoting Lofton and McGriff prices after one of the biggest content drops of the year which also included half off packs. People were selling off every sellable card they had to either buy cards for exchanges or buy packs - that's going to decrease the price of almost everything. Back when the event was live, those cards were much more expensive than Choo and whoever the other reward was (Murray?) in the event prior to it. And that is because fewer people were interested in grinding a 6 inning event.
I expect those cards will settle around 8K, 15K and 25-30K respectively with no other content releases influencing prices. If the next content drop excludes the Honus-type collection, yes prices will drop on those cards. If Honus is the next big content drop, those prices will rise.
Thank you Captain Obvious. I agree with your prices on these three cards. In my opinion, i still think the event is buns.
