So SDS, a legitimate question here

I have played from rank 300 all the way to 860 and the connections to the opponents are horrible most games. For instance, I just got matched up at the 400 rank against an opponent. He was the home team and the first pitch was laggy. The connection was lost and I won the game. How on earth am I getting matched up with this internet? Do you not realize that putting a good connection against a bad or even mediocre connection ruins the enjoyment and severely effects the game play? It affects all aspects of the game (pitching, hitting, fielding and base running). Although it happens in all ranks it is far more prevalent the higher you go. Why hasn't SDS went to ping based match making like almost every online game out today? It would make for a much smoother game experience for everyone which in turn would probably mean more money in the form of stub sales. If I felt the game had a level playing field (connection wise), I know I would be way more tempted to buy stubs. I have in the past but the connections have got so bad that I have zero desire to spend additional money. In fact, if not for the pandemic, I wouldn't have purchased this game at all.

I agree 100% and with how bad a connection effects the game and pitch speeds this year especially. I won’t buy next year unless we go to ping based online play. Yes I feel bad for the players it would effect that are rural or don’t have access to good internet.

Trust me, there are plenty of people with bad internet. They deserve to play each other.
