Just pressing up using power swing. Directional is all about timing. If you get the timing down and swing only at strikes the power moments will be easy

I am getting eaten alive online...I can win in HOF against CPU but that’s because of my pitching mostly...I’m still trying to get the hang of zone. Dumb question but how do you know where to hit the ball in zone? You can’t direct it?

So true , I go back and forth between directional and zone online. I’m only 500 ish player I can’t pick up fastballs quick enough with zone due to age and screen. If they bringing heat I switch to directional and pray. If not , I use zone.
But yes, directional only gets you so far

I am getting eaten alive online...I can win in HOF against CPU but that’s because of my pitching mostly...I’m still trying to get the hang of zone. Dumb question but how do you know where to hit the ball in zone? You can’t direct it?
Going from directional to zone can be difficult because you have to place the pci where the pitch will be. Thing is you need to practice offline on very high difficulties to get used to pci play. Change your sliders to the fastest you can for fastballs and slower for breaking stuff so you have to recognize the pitch to be able to hit. It’s frustrating but once you get the hang of it and can recognize pitches than hitting is much easier.

Also get a monitor and don’t try and play on a regular television. The lower the response time (10ms or less) and the higher the refresh rate (Equal to or greater than 60hz) the better. You’ll notice an amazing difference in your ability to not only see the pitch but react to it.

I mean yah, it wasn't even the Yankees starter he homered off of irl. 115 pitches over 12 innings. Riddiculs

Couldn't strike them out to save my life. Took me 7 innings. It was a blowout though.

Finished all the 90 moments over the weekend. Only have one TA mission left to be done in TA3. The Bagwell 3XBH mission which feels impossible because Julio Urias won't throw a [censored] strike.
