Where do they go from here... ?

SDS

By releasing Stage 3 and making all the cards sell-able, I feel it's going to be hard for them to release anything that holds value and really stands out. We've already seen cards that were very expensive not long ago considerably drop below price-points that we've seen in other years of Diamond Dynasty.

I could be wrong and maybe I'm under-estimating the cards we usually see by July most years but I feel they've done something very unprecedented with the sell-able Stage 3 cards as most of those cards will drop to around 8-12K I imagine before long. Maybe I'm thinking too far out but what could Stage 4 be if most teams already have 97-99s?

SDS

We have a lot of things that will hold value / be expensive.

We haven't seen Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx, Clayton Kershaw, Albert Pujols, Frank Thomas, Chris Sale, Willie Mays, Billy Wagner, etc. We have a lot of great legends/flashbacks to go

SDS

Griffey and frank thomas are the only cards I gaf about from here on out. Most of these other cards play the same anyway

SDS

I think making them sellable guarantees a major collection reward coming soon and this makes it more attainable without insane grinds (at least as far as the FOTF collection part). And that will give cards a little more value.

I could see them maybe tier it like the Prospects collection and have a couple of other players you earn the more collections you complete to get Wagner.

There is no way they can do unsellable for affinity 4 now right? (I mean, they can, but would they?) They kind of opened Pandora’s box with that. And if stage 4 is sellable. Is there any reason to keep grinding affinity? (Other than stubs and packs). I mean, during the sales tonight, I skipped packs and just bought cards for exchanges. Now I’m wondering, is there really any reason to exchange my way (after moments are done) through TA?

TA is really just if you want a card to sell for your hard work at this point (and the packs and stubs which is quite a bit actually).

Yeah, I hear ya. I’d hate to be way behind affinity if there’s a reason in stage 4 to grind through. But now that the main card is sellable (thus buyable) it seems kind of a waste to use stubs advancing when you can just buy whatever card you want.

I was on vacation so I’m just starting this out now. I had 6 teams all the way before stage 3 dropped, so I only have 6 teams in stage 3 now. The rest are back at stage 1 and I don’t know if it’s worth my stubs/time/effort to get them all up to stage 3. I’m going to do all the moments that I can. In reality, that’s not much of an advancement though. I can do showdown or exchange but not sure if I feel it’s worth it or if I’m up for that much grinding.

Something to think about though is that since these cards are sellable, a lot less people are going actually complete these. So if Stage 4 is sellable, I think they will be a bit more expensive.

Thank god they made them sellable. I had so many cards for the exchanges that i already got 18 of the fotf affinty 3 teams done. It means I don't have to play showdown if I don't to. I sold like 10 of them and kept the others. I plan to buy a few back. I made a huge profit so far. I almost feel like i have so many stubs with nothing to spend them on. I like that feeling. Now i can splurge on a br reward or a couple cards that drop in the future that are unattainabke for me. Its great that i can now play the game and not worry about brainless online "grinding" with showdowns.

They should've released Babe Ruth and Ted Williams earlier, their lack of defense is going to put me off from them, personally.

But you're right about the others. I'm hoping Kersbaw and Sale will hit the market sooner than later.

I’ve been saying that for years. By the time they release them cards, everyone wants 5 tool players at every position. Babe and Ted would be better to come early. Waiting to the end makes them bench bats. That doesn’t feel right.

SDS

With Sale under the knife, maybe they shouldn’t release another card! Unfortunately the almighty dollar will win and we’ll get yet another Sale. Especially now that they borked TA.
