Help me understand.......

I have been playing this game since the get go....online primarily. You run into those guys every so often where everyone on their team is batting .380 plus, and they just rip perfect perfects everytime, next thing you know you’re down 4-0. You guys know what I’m talking about

Good hitting beats good pitching in this game. You can spot things all you want, if someone can move their pci to it, it doesn't matter.

Those are humbling games. You’ve been playing well recently and then boom... Some dude makes you look like you just bought the game that day.

These players are just that good. I tip my cap to these guys.

Ppl who hit like that use a monitor. Plays are easier to see and pci is easier to move to the spot.

Some people are just that good. I have a 1.62 ERA in ranked last time I checked so I'm not a terrible pitcher but sometimes you just run into a much better player. Ive seen guys who will literally swing at nothing out of the zone no matter how close it is and literally anything in the zone is over the wall. Its humbling but there is.nothing dirty going on. Just take the L and move on

A monitor does help, but it's not like buying a monitor will make you a top player overnight lol.

Who cares about winning. I play online to complete missions and unlock cards. I am a below .200 hitter but have collected every non prestiged up card in the game, except for Pudge, who I haven't unlocked.

For fun? That concept is lost on some people. I’m in the same boat as this other guy but I hit .275 and actually win quite a few games. I just don’t push for WS because it is too stressful. I enjoy playing games in the 600s

I have a losing record. I don't stress it, but I'm definitely trying to win. Winning is fun. I like trying to get better. I have a winning record this season, but had an awful one last season.

I compete, I just focus on mission and daily program points. If I win great. If I lose, I go down in rankings which helps me unlock things. I would rather lose 9-7 with 12 hits then win 1-0 with 2.

I just won 1 - 0 in 11 innings, and I agree, I'd have more fun losing 9 - 7 than I had in that one
