TA catch up thoughts

We know they are going to add moments to help people catch up which will apply to what ever stage you are in. What are your thoughts on what these could be?
To me these wont be quick moments I think they will more in line with actually games for example let use the Blue Jays
The moments could be beat the Blue Jays best squad (ala signature teams) in a 9 inning game. Then there would be beat a squad of AL east rivals in a 9 inning game.
The reason I make this case is based on the situation I'm in right now currently I have 14 teams left in stage one so if I move all of then into stage 2 I will get 52k in stubs and 84 TA packs I dont see SDS making these moments super quick just to allow everyone to collect on major stub and packs lots

My concern isnt the length or difficulty of the catch up moments, its the points. If they add a new moment for 2 points, that isnt exactly going to help. Showdown by far is the best bang for the buck, but you can work your [censored] of for 90 minutes and blow the final boss come away empty handed. Some people are so good they can jump straight to the boss and have 20 points for 1k stubs.
Yesterday i finally had a perfect SD run on the NL west. But man it was touch and go, could have easily lost 3 of them that would have been 6 runs. But since i switched camera angles they have gotten easier. Still most definitely not easy.

Not trying to be "that guy" but I think that's BS for the folks that grinded showdowns and did tons of exchanging for TA1.

I'm all for helping with catch ups, but for the love of baseball, please don't start handing out participation trophies and giving away TA 1 and TA 2 points for only doing TA 3 showdowns.

I agree it is a bit of a raw deal for sure I know the grind as I have been doing it for stage 1 recently. Plus like my argument for my self if it's super easy and quick I'm being handed 50k+ in stubs and 80+ in packs. To me the catch up should be not "harder" but longer like the beat X team on All star in a 9 inning game.
It's a hard balance to achieve for sure and I dont envy SDS on it either because they wont win regardless of what they do.

TAs are just too much of a grind at this point. Especially if you’re only in stage 1 on a lot of teams. Think about how many showdowns you have to do to keep up at this point.

You should have been grinding all along towards the goal.
Same logic for prestige. If someone is a 54 silver, we shouldn't be giving them extra XP for being behind.

Or, the reward for doing the early grinding is that you got to have those cards earlier in the game cycle and the rewards tied to the programs/events those cards were tied for? At this point, those cards are largely off rosters, so kinda moot point. Plus, if you have been playing this game for longer than a year, this is pretty much status quo and expected. Always also have to remember that there are new players that get on this game later in the year, and I can get on board with allowing those players to get up to speed at a quicker pace than having them grind all the way through each of those levels..... I mean, by that logic, one would think that the devs should have to start any new players on the first patch of the game and progress through the patches like us, then play all Showdowns on the original difficulties, hell, lets roll with having them pay the same market prices for diamonds we all had to pay...

Yep, this is what I was going to say. If you did the grind before, you got to use those FOTF cards when they were still hot. Now with more content and 99s out, they're not as big of a deal, so if people get them now it's not like they're going to threaten your team. And you have a leg up on the next stages.
For me, I enjoy rotating players from different teams making a push on innings used (not really grinding showdowns very much). Getting to the FOTF cards, 5-6 Future Stars and a few TA3 cards will be enough for me. So the catch-up is welcome! -

If this is true and the new moments added are on the easier side and apply to stage 3 then that does balance things out which would be good

I am not good at showdowns, I grind innings do the exchanges or MTO. MTO is the best way after show down but it gets boring.

If Show down is to hard or frustrating MTO is a good way to catch up, A full run on VET takes 6-7 hours with MAX points = 52

Agreed. Do MTO. Very viable option for those that need to catch up.

I have been grinding showdown pretty much exclusively for the last 2-3 weeks work on TA and I'm loving it
Showdown is the best mode added to this game in a long time
