In the past two weeks I played two ppl with almost identical, horrible records. One 25-145 (game 1) the other 27-177 (game 2)

In game one, I had two perfect perfect swings, no hits and endless amounts of good good fly ball outs in the center of the pci. And my opponent was able to bunt himself to a win.
In game 2, now with the new update. I had 3 perfect perfect swings. No hits again. Also, I felt every other batter had a good (in the green) swing Timing and the ENTIRE ball in the center of the pci and I got like 4 hits all game. And AGAIN my opponent was able to bunt himself to a win. Forcing 3 errors.
In both of these game they were not strategic bunts. They were just so bad they bunted with anyone, anytime.

I sat there for 40 mins having good swings robbed from me and turned into lazy fly balls. While my opponent held down Y and got the win.
It’s honestly such a joke. I feel like throwing up.

If it rewards bad gameplay so much, why do those players have bad records?

It quite clearly isn't rewarding those players to much.

That’s a good point, probably because of quitting after letting up one run. But it does reward bad gameplay. If you have a player with high bunt and high speed. You are almost more likely to get a hit while attempting to bunt as opposed to when you take a good swing.

It might help to not look at someone's record before playing them. Idk if you did or not but playing blind might help you stop pressing (if you feel like you were, again..idk)

Haha I usually do! But I happened to see these two.

If your opponent isn't expecting a bunt sure, it "can" be more rewarded at times, but as soon as I know I'm playing a bunter, I can easily rework my defense and neutralize it, so really my opponent can only get me once with a surprise bunt.

Yes I did this. As I stated he forced 3 errors. Two made by Felix in back to back plays while being a silver defender as a pitcher.
Ik some game are just bad* you can’t help it. But these hurt.

Yeah, some games are lost by the AI and not by you, but what does that really mean?
It quite clearly isn't an effective strategy by your opponents, their records speak to that, it doesn't work most of the time.

So saying the game rewards bad gameplay is a bit too broad, what video game does the player that deserves to win actually win if you ran 100 games/scenarios?

I'm not discounting your frustration, we all know how those games feel. just by looking at the records alone, it seems the game doesn't reward bad gameplay far more often then it does

Yeah you are right. I’m sure you realize that’s for me it’s 2 in the morning, and I feel like I should have won. Lol.
It’s just, ...in battlefield when I shoot someone they die. In this game you can take a bunch of good swings and get nothing out of it. But I agree, the game plays better than not most of the time.

I don't know you or your ability. That said, if you're losing (regardless of your REASONS they beat you) to players with those kinds of records maybe you're looking for answers in the wrong direction?
