Lmao if you’re arguing that Walker is better than Bonds you lose any credibility you ever had. Bonds is the best player to ever play the sport.
Imagine people saying that about Altuve, but you won't, because Altuve had a trash can. But you support a guy that used illegal drugs for half his career. Find your priorities, think about what your saying, edit the comment, and we will visit this again in the future
There was a trash can bang in 14 of Altuves 700 plus plate appearances in 2017. Correa has stated that Altuve did not want the bangs and would get pissed and get in guys faces when it did happen. I'm an Astro fan and what they did was wrong. But Altuve is not the dude yall should be pissed at. People have made him the face of this scandal. It's just dumb bc he plays the right way, is a good dude, and was against it. The face of this scandal should be Beltran and Cora.
If he was against it, he would have said something. He kept quiet and gladly accepted a ring. Nice try, but if you see something that you know is wrong, you speak up. If not, you're as guilty as everyone else.
Ok. Well everyone from the mid 90's through 2005 is guilty of steroid use then bc they all knew it was going on

Who's Bonds?
I think they are used to bail people out of jail. I don't know why we talking about bail bonds here but maybe somebody here needs to call Saul.
Better.

My favorite memory of Larry Walker:
My dad and I went to a Cubs/Rockies game at Wrigley 1997. The Cubs were winless to start the season at that point. We had seats in the right field bleachers.
For the entire game, the Cubs fans in right heckled Walker with harsh homophobic slurs, and trash talk about Canada. He did his best to appear he was ignoring them until the 9th inning.
Score is 4-0 Rockies, and the first out is recorded in the bottom of the 9th. Walker swings his arm and snaps his fingers in a "shucks" type of gesture. More intense fans hatred spews out at him. 2 outs, he kicks at the ground and snaps his fingers again like "darn it". Again the crowd is on him even more.
Final out of the game, and Walker finally turns to the bleachers, holds up his hand in a Zero. Then he took off his glove and proceeded to count off on his fingers to get to the Cubs record now of 0-12. He ran off to the infield with a grin on his face to some serious hate talk and a few thrown beverages.
He earned a lot of my respect that day, and both myself and my Dad still laugh when thinking about how he trolled those Cubs fans.

If Larry Walker married Walker Buehler, then he’d be Larry Buehler.
If Larry Walker ever played for Texas he would have been Larry Walker Texas Ranger.

Absolutely, and they testified about it to congress, wrote books about it, etc. Of course they are guilty, as is Altuve.

Cool. I guess I disagree with you. I personally like the way Altuve handled it. He went to the guys who were doing it and said he disagreed with it and didn't want to be a part of it. He didn't go to the media or rat out his teammates. And when they got caught, he never denied being a part of it. Took responsibility for not stopping it. Never put himself above the team. I'm sure he will be the leader of this team going forward. The fact is a trash leader who had just spent a couple years with a trash franchise came to the Astros in 2017 and influenced a bunch of young guys to cheat, telling them other playoff teams were doing it too. I'm not making excuses for them, but the whole thing doesn't change my opinion about one of the best dudes in MLB.

I've never met him, and I doubt you have. Neither of us know if he's "one of the best dudes in MLB".
We do know he was part of a scandal and failed to be an adult and report it.

I’m definitely no Astro’s fan (even before the scandal), but not reporting it doesn’t mean he “failed to be an adult.” I actually respect the fact that he didn’t snitch on his teammates, even though he disagreed with what they were doing. And like dude said, when questioned about it, he didn’t deny that it happened.
Also, saying players who didn’t snitch about steroids are guilty is just asinine. I bet you’d be real fun to hang out with. If anyone does anything fun, you probably run to the nearest police station!!

Except, people did talk during the steroid era. They went all the way to the federal government and testified publicly. The rest of what you said is a philosophical discussion on morals. If you see an action that hurts others, my moral compass says it's my job to protect innocent folks from harm. Yours says "bros before..." well you know the rest.
Cool, good luck with that.
