Yup I agree. I was going to sell him but forgot. Then he defaulted into my event lineup and I haven't taken him out. Won't sell him until this first event is over. I thought the exact same thing with the ichiro comparison...bloop hits everywhere and shockingly a fair number of gappers which are guaranteed triples.

I had him, and then sold him and regret it. Thinking of buying him back once I save up some stubs. Want to build a track team. I have Mondesi, Brujan, and Victorino in my lineup Lofton would fit in nicely.

I've been using speed teams for years, better D, more runs and less of the scripted double plays

Kenny and ichiro as lead bats were awesome last year but this year not so much. Still great pinch runner.

Alright it’s time to come clean....
I’ve been using Lofton a lot and have had success hitting and all around. Which includes being a Billy the Cheese bunting with him. Out of the roughly 150 hits with him, I’d guess at least 115 bunt hits. I’m not happy doing it but it works. Ik no one here would wanna play that way, but just lay a few down and enjoy the success. -

they weren’t , but after the sudden burst in popularity and cult like following it has gained, I will be creating a zebra themed team rebrand tonight!

I had this same idea and it’s a lot of fun so far. I’ve currently got FOTF Buxton, Lofton, Roberts, and just got Mondesi to add in. Also Cutch in RF with good but not 90+ speed. Played a couple games with that squad in Griffith so far and it’s awesome to see that OF just run down everything in the air.

You must! At this point you have to give the public what they want and debut the "Zebros"! Whoever you play in those uniforms wont even get the bat off their shoulders. They'll just be in a trance staring back at the pitcher mesmerized at what stands in front of them.

Yea I just got Bellinger and gonna stick him at 1B. I have Marsh too but like Cutch better. Working on KeBryan Hayes to put at 3B with 80+ speed then would only be C with low speed. Which seems like Biggio would be the only option there.

I've been eying Lofton and his price has fallen down to 12.5k right now. With the prices falling like they have though I could get Ellsbury for only 38k at this point. Now I'm debating between those two. Anyone have experience using both? Obviously Ellsbury stats are way better but is Lofton "glitchy" enough to make him the better card?

He seems to play as he should. Not glitchy at all. There is nothing he does I wouldnt expect. Now if he hit bombs with that power then he would be "glitchy'. But then again the whole World is "glitchy" right now I guess.

Bought Ellsburry a few days ago for about 48-50k to rent for the events. He’s been amazing and much more of a weapon than lofton. Gonna be upset about his quick drop thats coming but it was worth it to have him help rack up event wins.

Yeah I've read a lot good things about Ellsbury on here. As I have with Lofton too. Considering how cheap he is right now though I might go with Ellsbury. Can always pick up Lofton later on since his price wasn't even all that high before the crash.
