So what do you feel are "bottoms out" prices for these cards in the interest of having a beefy collection for a Honus like program later?
I'm in a great position as a 1st year player (nms too which doesn't matter) where I have Mantle, 425k stubs and I have another payday coming at prestige 45/90+ ls diamond.
With the elite teir you will be looking at base teir around 12-10k this weekend and for most of the summer once the DOP packs start being handed out as rewards in conquest and the inning programs you will see them fall to 7-5k value
Rare teir will hover around 40k to 30k fridays
The prices will change as well when the pack cost drops which it did at one point it went from 35k to 30k the 25k before it settled at 15k once the pack shop prices got a permanent price drop in November I think it was.

John Franco played for both. But already has Signature series. Randy Meyers pitched for both, but that of course would be a new player all together. Devin Mesoraco, lol no. Kevin Mitchell, but he was more known for SF. No doubt Seaver has to be it.

Are LS cards usually affected by these packs too? I packed a Trout last night that im sitting on and was hoping to sell quick to finish some collections, but his sell now price has dropped under 300k for the first time that i can remember. Was hoping it was just an anomaly =/

I do believe the 3 tiers were dropped at the same time last year, I guess I anticipated from the beginning that they would at least add players to the current tiers/packs and also make them easily available through other programs. I suppose the addition of the elite tier doesn't surprise me, I've been burned in other situations in years past, so I stay well guarded for these types of things.

Better act quick all Rare teir cards have fallen below 60k on the buy now orders. This will likely continue to fall even further as we get closer to Friday and more reveals are shown
Done. Just netted 51k after tax
Sold Greinke a week ago for 60K after tax.
While I didn't think we would get a higher round; I dis think that these would be implemented into rewards later on, so I figured the top 3 now would be around 20K in a month or two.

TBH, we saw this coming. The moment the odds were released and the type of pack it was advertised at. Having an elite round should be ZERO surprise.

lol, name one choice pack last year outside of the AS pack that only had two tiers. I'll wait.
This was beyond obvious, I got rare tier twice, sold both times. Now I can buy all three guys on the cheap Friday.

They could be effected. I packed Trout last week and sold him to use the atuba for investments with the thought of buying him back later.
He hit 300K because of the stub sale. Id I'm not mistaken, before that dropped he was around 240-280K. These packs MAY be what knocks him back down. But he is technically the final piece for Mantle, so........

You mean like people who play a lot, earn cards they can sell, stubs and XP as rewards for their diligence, who then use those stubs to buy the elite cards or packs they want with the stubs they earned....those people?

As someone who bought Scherzer just the other day for 128k because I was spooked he would keep increasing, this is 100% the right call...and it makes me sad.

No... elite players like Lou Gehrig and not Jo Adell. You know, the players that deserve 99 rated cards.

My opinion: NOBODY deserves a 99 OVR card.
Get rid of the inflated 100+ attribute rating and go back to how it was prior.
