Learning new pitch

I have a pitcher RTTS. Question: Is learning a new pitch defend on the pitching repertoire of teammates? What if no one has the pitch that you like? Like me in the case of my character I like to let him learn the cutter but no one in the team throws the cutter. If I didn't choose a new pitch in the Bullpen training, will that option come again?

Yes -a teammate has to have the pitch you want.I guess you"ll have to get traded to a team where one of your new teammates has the pitch or see if your team brings in a pitcher with that pitch.I wouldn't hold my breath.
Pretty sure option is always there. -
My character is with the Reds right now and the only pitcher that throws a cutter in the organization is Wade Miley from AAA Bats. He's in the 40 man roster. Is it possible that the learn new pitch option reappear at September callups?

I don't like the new system for learning new pitches. It used to be you could get any pitch and have up to 5 pitches. If you didn't like any of your pitches you could replace them with another one that you want to try. RTTS is not the mode it once was. I have been playing since 2009 and have seen more nonsense added that is half done and for me it isn't enjoyable anymore. I just want to play baseball and have a monster player whether a pitcher or a position player.
