Gary Sheffield at 3B...

My created player (3B) is honestly starting to blow for me and Tony Gwynn is my most consistent hitter in the game.. Do I play Gary Sheffield at 3B or is his glove too much of a liability?

I play him at 3rd. Hasn't really hurt me that much. At least he has a gun..
Plus, his hitting more than makes up for it -
He has only made plays for me there. He looks fast there and then that cannon is great. Looks far more natural and inspiring than my Chipper at SS lol.

He’s fine. Won’t make any spectacular plays & lets alot of balls go by him but on routine plays he’s solid.

He does fine. And after starting out slow as far as hitting with him he's maybe my best hitter now. Guy just smokes the ball.

Ya definitely took me almost 100 at bats just against the CPU to get his swing Down..I was about to get sad that I wasn't going to be able to hit with him after awhile and replace him but I turned a corner an now I can get consistent hits with him

I'm with you, Gwynn is easily my most consistent hitter also. When I got Sheffield I put him at third and he's been there since. I couldn't take Tony out of my lineup and Sheff has been fine for me at third. Doesn't make any spectacular plays for me but has made just about routine play hes had. Hasn't been much of a liability there for me at all.
