Earning 4th inning points

Maybe someone can point me to another post, as I can't seem to find a thread. I'm still relatively new to DD.
I know how to earn the obvious points - challenges, online wins, etc. However, is there a formula to how many "4th inning" points you get for things like "Monthly Awards"? For example, I'm grinding away on Aguilar's moments, and every so often I earn one point toward the 4th inning challenge.

You earn 1 inning star for each 2,000XP, if you want to grind out the stars you should finish the 4th inning conquest and 4th inning showdown as well .

I’m at 650 program stars

Another standard I have found is every online 3 inning game you get one star and every online 9 inning game you get 3 stars, so 1 star per 3 innings. I don't know for sure if 3 innings gives 2kish xp or if that's just another formula they added for online play vs offline play.
