What I read was that RNG wasn’t on your side and because of that, you want other players that like Showdown to suffer.
Just because you don’t like Turtles doesn’t give you the power to deprive others of their Turtle love.

I have no complaints, I enjoy the game as it is. I am exclusively an offline player so a lot of the issues that others experience I am not privy to. I am not writing off those complaints, in fact, from the videos I watch they are quite valid.
Unlike most people in this forum that have an axe to grind (legit or otherwise), you want SDS to remove a feature because you didn’t get the result you wanted when using said feature. There isn’t a nice way to put it but my advice is grow a set and try again, or do something else.

With showdown I feel like it is basically the only way to get Team Affinities done without exchanges. I was saying in another thread to add conquest for that. I wish showdown wasn't one of the only ways to get good cards.

I agree that Conquest should have more to it than it does. IMO Showdown is pretty much “hard mode” for offline players.

Or ya know dont play it if you dont like it? I would love more ways to get team affinity points but asking to remove a mode a lot of people like and grind out because you personally don't like it or can't beat it? Bad form

I guess but I want the TA cards and they are hard to get without doing showdown...

Take out any offline moments, showdowns are to easy. Their should not be any offline missions needed for this game, make it both offline and online. I hate offline as playing the computer is worse than watching paint dry.

It's impossible to get better when SDS is constantly moving the goalposts with RNG. you can work on whatever aspect of the game you want, but when SDS is changing the environment pitch by pitch, the results in front of you are not representative of your skill level. there's no getting better with the current game state. its simply hoping you swing at the right pitch and that the RNG is in your favor on that pitch.

I'm playing the 4th inning showdown and it's tied 15-15 with 3 outs and a runner on third, Swanson up. Good good ground out to shortstop. I was a little mad. Then Xavier Edwards hits a late jammed that should have fallen but the left fielder makes a great running catch. I'm stressed at this point. Avisial Garcia is now up, good squared up to 2nd base for a lineout. This mode is BS, you waste peoples time by not rewarding them when they make good contact. If SDS doesn't take this out of the game or start rewarding us then I'm not gonna buy the game next year. I've officially been fed up with the game and they need to fix it

If only we can come to some sort of middle ground. There is the RNG tinfoil hats vs the you suck git gud players. I think there is RNG, but there is also some skill.

How about trying a bunt to get your winning run in. From my experience the CPU will almost always take the out at first rather than try to get the runner at home.
I think this depends on the speed of the runner at third. I would pinch run whoever is the fastest on the bench first before bunting.

Mommy it’s too hard and if I can’t do it then it needs to be out of the game even if it’s one of the best ways to complete collections and make a great team NMS. TAKE IT OUT!
