Mo Rivera Bank it. It says new legend I don't think that means it's someone that hasn't been released yet. He is a new legend this year and should definitely get a 99 but maybe I am looking at this wrong

Nah. They don’t ever say “new legend” about a guy that already has a card in the current game or previous games. Its a brand-new guy

Actually Jim Thome makes a lot of sense for a few reasons, he's the only player not in MLB the show 20 that is a part of the 2018 hall of fame plus we havn't had a first base boss since Todd Helton in the first inning.
