I really don’t understand why people will undercut on a sell order by extreme amounts. If someone has a card they are trying to sell for 10,000 stubs and you go and post yours for 8500 why not just click that sell now order that’s up for 8300.
Obviously the 1500 stubs you are undercutting by doesn’t matter to you, so why does 300?????

I’ll do that on lower priced cards also, but when it gets too high up there I don’t risk it.

Yes but shhhhhh. Nobody seems to understand this method. It's free stubs for a couple button clicks.

My lips are sealed but there are some real dimwits selling cards, that’s for sure.

If you pay attention to the market most times when you see this it’s a person who is raging at the moment because he keeps getting undercut by the same person over and over again. Shamefully
I am guilty of this practice to manipulate the market on a card. I know it’s kinda cheap but if you didn’t rage about the situation and be patient then the tactic backfired on me. Just saying -
What I love is when someone puts a card in buy orders for face value, yes I'll buy your card and then flip it for way more. Great feeling. I've said it before but it's all about patience, all cards sell though if you give it time.

I have done it a couple of times on cards that just weren't moving. But I'll only do it on cards Im making stubs on regardless. I had Paul monitor in my line up for a while. I really didn't like his swing, he was selling for 12k over what I first bought him at. He wasn't moving for a couple days and the price was starting to drop. I dropped the price by 1500 just to sell it faster and not have to worry about it. I made my money already and I know someone else probably made an extra 1000 stubs. To that guy, your welcome. I still made 10k on a card I was expecting to break even with.

This. I'll catch myself in the market from time to time looking for specific cards to flip, then randomly someone will post an 83 or 84 overall for 1,000 stubs. Instantly doubles my stubs after tax.
