Bumgarner was dificult for me before they updated the outs and dificulty. It used to be down 4-0 against Bumgarner with 10 outs on allstar, so it made more sense to skip it if I had 7-8 runs. Now it is 4-0 with 20 outs, and both on Veteran. Makes sense to go all the way through now. They can still be frustrating, but better! Buehler throws a lot of balls, so I went with a take 2 strikes approach and had a lot of walks.

You also want to make sure you have bats strong vs LHP for the missions after Kirby leading up to MadBum. You face Ray and Kershaw (and Paddack) before MadBum.
