Who Gets Better Luck

This game is so decided by luck and RNG it’s disgusting. Oh and sinkers. Lots of sinkers and RNG

so basicaly you're saying someone with a 100-20 record is at the same skill level as someone with a 50-50 record

No that’s not what I’m saying. Stop inferring things. Nothing I said is even close to that. Thanks

When you play on all star or under and both players are at least decent you'll see luck play a big part in who wins but this game is pretty good once you are playing on a hard enough difficulty to challenge both players then this game does a pretty good job of representing the game of baseball. Of course it isn't perfect but it's far better than some other sports games out there.

You know, I've heard this argument a lot. And although you do make a really valid point and I agree with your insinuation, I would like to add some context to this.
You see, many "better" players in the game are also affected by randomness. They're just good enough in squaring up the baseball consistently that they'll eventually get rewarded and overcome the randomness and win against players below their skill level.
However, when 2 good players go up against each other and both players square up the ball consistently, but the game rewards them differently in different situations. Different being lining out with runners on base, while your opponent hits solo shot after solo shot. Or, where your opponent gets a jammed hit to go for an RBI single, while you hit a perfect/perfect screamer straight to the outfielders glove. It is stuff like this that is impacting the outcome of games too often. Giving up a solo shot in the second inning is not as bad as not getting rewarded on a perfect/perfect late game.
So to conclude, I also think the so called RNG factors still weigh to heavily. If my opponent is squaring everything up, let him mercy me. He deserved that. But if I square up the ball, I want my piece too.

so would you be saying that someone with a 100-20 overall record is more or less of equal skill to someone who is 50-50?

bottom line is if you are a good player you will win a the majority of your games

Well said.
