Seriously what is everyone playing ?
-
I just tried hopping into a couple of games of RS after avoiding it like the plague the last couple of weeks because it is just a ridiculous RNG hell hole. I can only play Showdown and BR ( Which I also don't like ) so many times. Just curious what people are doing ?

And by hell hole I mean a place where you give up HR's on 11 PCI placement when the ball is 6" out of the strike zone. Because that just happened. Good/ Okay feedback. GG SDS

Well, I typically drop down to 400, win until I get to around 750, quit back down, rinse and repeat. Game is so stale the higher you get. Poor connections, no lineup diversity, face kluber every 1-2 games, plethora of connection based issues. It is just not fun. I go back down and do my dailies so I may have an all bronze infield to get 3 rbi's, need 8 innings with brewers pitchers so start a silver pitcher. Some times I get fed up with the game and leave my starters in and grieve people. Some times I will just feel like trying different players. Started Corbin one game and gave up 7 runs in the first inning. Been using meter pitching a lot and absolutely suck at it. Even with good release the ball will miss the mark by two feet.

I think the game is more stale in the lower levels. Sure you might score more runs and oh boy isn't that exciting for EVERYONE. But they're so prdictable. Get out to a lead. Opponenet can't get ball out of the infield. 5th inning opponent somehow turns into Babe Ruth. You seem to be swinging a wet paper bag. Close game sweating it out in the 8th and 9th. That's about 90% of the games below 700. That is IF I haven't rage quit by then.

I have not been able to crack 700 I have been close but then lose 3 or 4 in a row and spiral all the way down to 400 or less. It is so random.

Yeah I had gotten him in the first switch it up event which I liked so I didn't really need to play the 2nd one. The Events seem to be the thing I have liked most about online play this year.

Not much to do that isnt terrible gameplay or silly repetitive right now. Im messin around with a few of the free games from the last few months once i get a few stars from dailies. I realize no real season hurts the content...but its getting stale quick this year for me

The game is a snooze fest at the higher levels because you can't catch up to 120 mph sinkers, zero pitch recognition, baserunners won't move, poor results on good/good+ contact and the plethora of other items. Meanwhile, your opponent is getting a hit every time they touch the ball. Not to mention the lack of diversity in players and kluber.
The game is more stable in the lower levels because that is where the people with good internet are. There are still games it is an issue, just not as many (as in almost every game when you get higher).

To answer your original question, it will be Last of Us II in about 3 weeks

Been dabbling in MTO and RTTS. Did the 4th inning conquest and showdown. Now just do the daily exchange and then back to before mentioned modes.
