Yes on a rarer occasion by wall, same w pitcher if it bounces off him and stays on mound. He can’t find it

Route angle efficiency actually matters for this. I have yet to have a single lock on error happen to me in any RS or Event game where i took a good angle to the ball. The only time it has happened is if I have ran straight to the spot with my back turned and expected my player to miraculously turn and catch the ball despite not having seen it when it left the bat.
Route running matters for fly balls and ground balls in this game. Of course i have had a lock on issue with bloopers that bounce over my outfielders' heads but I cant help but think I pushed too close to the ball and have been trying not to blame the game every time something doesn't go my way
