I assume we’ll be getting him for the next program. My only question is, if they are gonna base this card off his 2011-12 season where he should’ve won mvp do you think they get him up to that 75 power mark vs righties? I can see him having similar stats to the cargo evolution card with maybe a little less power vs lefties and maybe a little more contact vs righties. My real question is will they bump his arm strength up because if so I can see that card being a real weapon in center and as a leadoff man

He won't get a good arm, maybe not as bad as Lofton's but it won't be good

Yeah I’m not expecting anything high maybe mid 70s would be nice just for the overall boost. But I really hope it isn’t like 50s 60s

Also curious as a Sox fan what kind of card do you think this will be like card art wise? All star card gold glove card silver slugger? I just like the card arts for the awards haha so I hope for one of them

Ellsbury hasn't ever gotten love from the devs, I don't think he got an SS last year. I know that some of the SS cards last year (Adam Jones comes to mind) were pretty far out there but... It's hard to see a guy who was a mediocre player and not even the fan favourite end up being an innings boss.

Every team he played for hates him, abandoned the Red Sox in his prime for a fat contract w his rival team. Then as a Yankee he gave up on baseball after getting said contract and was a stain on the team and their payroll for many years. Known as the worst contract we ever signed here in NY. He’s never been elite and he is as far from a fan favorite as possible. He wouldn’t even be 30k in a headliner pack and he’s a boss? Super weak choice, honestly can’t get more weak imo. They are going to have to take some serious liberties to get this card up to a 96 that prestige’s to 98. Making him better than chippper Jones
straight future star status in the stats , except he’s a never star -

What would give you that impression, I’m grinding from drop until he puts mantle on the bench for good

straight future star status in the stats , except he’s a never starWell considering the card will be based of 2011 where he should’ve won mvp I’d say he was a star that year. Have fun picking Joe torre
