It's over. After weeks of flipping...

Congrats! I know how much work and dedication is involved in your achievement ....much respect.
I flipped like crazy to collect every card in 2018 and only missing a handful from last year. I flipped so much that i am completely flipped out lol! I tried it this year, maybe because there is no transaction limit i feel like I would never ever play a gameb if i tried flipping again. I'm enjoying progressing through the game gradually and collecting all the bosses while slowly working on the live series collection. The best thing about being accomplished in the marketplace is that the urge to buy stubs doesn't even cross your mind
happy collecting on the rest of the cards! -
How long did it take you to be able to buy each high diamond? Say you started around 10-20k stubs
-
Congrats man! I know the grind I finished today as well. Now I'm focusing on maxing out all affinities and the prospect collection!

Another tip for anyone out there looking to get into flipping:
Study the market. Make a mental note of what certain cards go for at certain times of the day. Sometimes it changes but usually I would put my buy orders in at night (like a metric TON of them) and most would be filled by the time I played in the afternoon the next day. If the prices were where I liked them, I'd put in my sell orders.
For example, if I knew say... Michael Kopech goes for around 126-130 later in the day and he's going for 92 at the moment, I'd hold off and just sell them when the price got back to where I knew it should. It's all about memorizing this, and I'm not sure if that sounds super difficult to anyone but the more I flipped, the more familiar I was with what each player's price usually settled around. For example, Jacob Stallings usually sells for around 228-240 Stubs. Brandon Belt goes for around 166-173, Jordan Yamamoto goes for around 145-157. I bet if you were to look right now, these prices would be correct or at least close to it. It's all about knowing when to strike, whether that be striking to buy, or to sell.

I usually did start from there. So, here's how I acquired all of the high diamonds in order of how I got them:
Max Scherzer - I went out of my way and bought him within the first few days of the early access period since I thought the Vlad looked great for the price. I paid 63,000 Stubs for Scherzer.
Nolan Arenado - Here's an ironic one, I pulled Arenado from a Ballin' is a Habit pack, kept him for a bit and nearly locked him in so many times. Eventually, I sold him for 109K to buy Luis Robert and Nate Pearson the first time they did those "Flash sales," unfortunately for me and anyone else who bought the Prospect cards, they were pretty much given away the next day after the "flash sale."
Mike Trout - For the first time since The Show 16, I pulled Mike Trout! In a standard pack, mind you, from beating the 2nd Inning Showdown. This was exhilarating and the moment I knew I was going to go for the Live Series collection.
Gerrit Cole - I went from about 30K to 170K in about 4 or 5 days of spending about an 2-3 hours per day flipping. This was just starting out so... you'll get a lot faster and more efficient the more you do it.
Cody Bellinger - I dropped all the way down to like 16K after buying Cole, but it only took me about two days of absolutely going HARD at the market to get enough for Bellinger. I bought him for 164K.
Jacob deGrom - I still don't know how but I made enough Stubs in a day to get deGrom. I was going very hard at this point and probably spent 10+ hours flipping that day. Paid 108K.
Nolan Arenado - Everything comes full circle. I had another day of going way hard and made enough to get Nolan for 138K.
I still don't know how I did it. But not having a life for the past few days surely helped.

That's exactly what I'm about to start working on! Clearly, great minds think alike...
I have the Rays and Nationals maxed out. I just need to finish the playoffs for my M2O run with the White Sox to max them out and then I have the Rockies, Padres, Rangers, and Athletics into Stage 2. I'm focusing on the Indians, Reds, Royals, Marlins, and Pirates next.
