First year playing DD. Why does everyone hate this game?

This is my first year really diving into Diamond Dynasty. I've been buying The Show for years but strictly stuck to Franchise and RTTS. I love DD and regret not jumping into this years ago. So... why does everyone hate this game? Am I not seeing all the problems as a first-year player? I get that fielding can get a little crazy and I'll make a stupid out on the basepaths every now and then but that's not a deal breaker to me. 84-71 so far in RS and loving every minute of it.

My main problem with this game is that one game 95 looks like 90 and then 3 games 95 looks like 120. I want 95 to look like 95 at all time. There are similar things that happen during these games like baserunning, pitching, stealing and defense are all affected. I would like consistency on the connections. I want to face people with similar connections to get the smoothest game play possible.

I feel you there. There are games I crush Newhouser and games I can't touch his fastball and don't feel like I'm doing anything different. Wasn't sure if it was level of difficulty or a connection thing... or me just being very average at the game. It does seem like people don't hate the game as much as they proclaim they hate it, because, well, here we are on a forum talking about the game while not playing the game.
