Stop getting mad at people who watch their homeruns

I'm far more annoyed by the player that keeps pausing the game checking the pitch history. If you don't have enough brain cells to remember the pitches that you or I threw don't subject me to you researching your senior thesis before every at bat.

I see alot of bashing on here directed towards people that watch their homeruns & I don’t know why people take it as being disrespectful. Have you ever seen Degrom, Cole or Sale at a post game press conference call out ESPN for replaying a homer they gave up during their start?....When you watch a game on tv and a player hits a mammoth homer don’t you look forward to seeing it in a slow mo replay?.....Look, If I hit an absolute moonshot or if my player does a sweet bat flip I replay it and save it to share with my friends on twitter. I’m not trying to disrespect you AT ALL. I’m just enjoying my accomplishment & sharing it with my friends. Don’t be so sensitive, I’m not dissing you or disrespecting you. Relax boys, Don’t take everything so personal.
How do you save the clip? Would like to start saving them to watch back! Thank you
After the animation/presentation is over press the share button on your controller then press the save video option which is square. Then after the game is over go into capture gallery and you can edit the video to just the length of the homerun. From there you can upload it to twitter, you tube, ect.

True. Why put all these bat flip and celebration animations in if you can never see them?
RIGHT?!?! lol

My only time I get upset is when it's a fence scraping home run. No reason to watch or replay this. You hit a no doubt grand slam with a player that has a sick bat flip then be my guess I want to see that as well
Absolutely agree here. If someone hits a moonshot with Reggie, Didi, Eddie, or Gleyber(who all have sick no-doubt animations), replay those all day. Just don’t hit a pop-up good/okay wall scraper with Gallo and replay it. Those are what grind my gears

Getting mad about anything in a video game is just silly. That being said, if you are still watching your replays I just assume you don't hit many. The novelty of it has worn off for most of us by now....
Depends on the bat flip. Reggie Jackson has a boss bat toss and lean back stare. I need to L2 it every time.
Also, Rickey Henderson's no doubter bat flips are so insanely over the top they get replayed 100% of the time. Freaking hilarious and outstanding.
Now a guy like Nolan Gorman? He's a bore -- would need to be a consequential HR to hit L2.
This is a FUN part of the game... Enjoy it. And if it pisses you off, even more benefit... Sometimes I'll replay my opponents HR just to get a breather after hanging a bad pitch or to see how far it went at what velocity if it were a monster shot.

Ever thought about that people turned that broken Hitting or Pitching feedback off? The only way to see the pitch and location is by holding R2
-
There is no need to replay homers, there are so many homers hit in this game it's not like it's a thing so rare that you have to be like omg i need to see that again. people replay homers to show up/[censored] off the opponent let's be honest here

The buffer for R2 is limited to a couple seconds and doesn't go to the pause menu. I'm talking about the person that goes into the menu before every at bat to see what pitches were thrown to that batter and to that handed matchup. Either that or they are adjusting their bullpen every at bat which seems highly unlikely.

Watch all the replays you want but I will never do it back. It's the same thing in madden where people "celly" all the time but I just wont do it back to them.
I played sports at a very competitive level in real life. Athletics are how I was able to go to University as I couldnt afford it any other way. I talked more sht in game than you can imagine. Michael Jordan and Reggie Miller would be proud. There I knew my actions had real, physical, consequences. Turn about was fair play and I accepted what came to me as a result of my mouth.
I just dont see the need to do such things in a video game and I can guarantee you that 99% of people would not display the behaviour they do playing a video game if you were sitting directly beside them.
-
I wait until the high fives are done and just as the replay starts. This makes the HR Display go away FYI.

Cool...so when you are winning 12-4 it gets annoying having to watch the 7th homerun over again. Some people want to play the game multiple times and not drag it out.
-
For me, I rarely hit home runs. So, I want to watch it, cause it doesn't happen often.
-
Absolutely my favorite feature added this year. Next batter almost always gets on base.

Regardless of your intentions, it appears as though you’re just trying to show up your opponent whenever you watch a replay.
It’s rubbing salt in an open wound. The guy is probably already pissed that he gave up a homerun and just wants to move on to the next batter, but you’re basically just pausing the game to force them to watch it again.
It’s The Show’s equivalent to batflipping or watching a homerun from the batter’s box.
And no, it doesn’t bother me. Just showing how/why it would bother a lot of people.
Yup. Exactly why you should do it.
If your opponent is that mentally weak... That fragile... Then yeah, hit L2 every time. The guy will end up beating himself.
Found the 12 year old who never played a sport in his life and shocker he is a Red Sox fan once again proving Boston is the worse at everything

lol yep...Anybody that has the numbers 69, 420 or 666 in their name I automatically assume you’re an [censored] until proven otherwise lol.

I only watch the replays that are bombs to see how far they’re hit. I know the other day someone on the thread was complaining about that so I hope that person has found some peace in their life
-
My point of view: act like you’ve hit a home run before lol. I don’t like waiting around to keep playing. I don’t watch any of mine because I want to try and finish games as quickly as possible.
