Can you determine the al/nl showdown boss before you draft?

As I don't see a team banner anywhere, even if I back out. I just took Mccovey over Arenado and I have a lefty boss...not the 1st time it's happened either.

The AL doesn’t have any lefties as final showdown bosses, however you can run into Britton and Miller as the mini bosses. There is no way of knowing before you draft, however. When I do the NL showdown I draft righties for this very reason, because I hit better R vs R than I do L vs L

Reddit has decent guides for showdown to let you know what you might be facing. But there is no way to know which draw you get for the AL/NL ones until after your initial draft.

Wouldn’t it be a better idea to just draft the players you think you will do better with? I don’t know, as I’ve not tried stage 2 yet. Just asking so I have an idea going into them soon.
