Freeze-Off Strategy
-
What is the best way to spend time since this guy (following rules and won't mention his name) gives up the lead in the top of the 3rd in an event game and proceeds to peg the next 2 guys and mysteriously freeze-off time. Wish there was some sort of mini game or something to keep me entertained during this.

Unless you are going to have 12 wins in your run, waiting out a freeze off in an event game isn’t worth it. Watch Netflix or something though if you insist on waiting it out

You are refusing to move on in an Event game? Holy try hard batman. More than likely the game froze and this dude has already shut his machine down and gotten that next win in the 10 minutes it would have taken to play a 3 inning game.

This sounds like something people have been pointing out that people are doing intentionally to lock up the game. If you can check your video of the game, look to see if he put his second baseman and SS into a position to hold the runner at 2nd base. If so, I'd report him for trying to do an intentional freeze on the game to get wins. I've heard of this happening a lot in BR.

I did notice that before it happened I just genuinely don't understand how this sort of stuff results in freeze-offs. Thanks for being much more reasonable and respectable than the others.

No worries. I heard about this happening yesterday in from a league group I'm in. Last year there was something people did as well, but it took place before the game even started and automatically booted the other user giving the person forcing the disconnect the win. It's ridiculous what people do to take advantage of a video game these days. Play, have fun, and enjoy life.
