I gave you a perfectly logical reason why this happened to you and instead you continue to cry foul and only answer back to the people that attacked you or defended the game. You ask a question but it’s obvious you don’t want intelligent answers and are just here to moan and complain. No sympathy at all for you and I hope it happens again
Apologies, I missed your comment initially as there is so much stuff going on here. Out of all the arguments made, yours does make the most sense. I still find it unacceptable that this is being rewarded for reasons I mentioned earlier, but that's my opinion and it's okay to disagree with that.
Shame you have to end on such a hateful note, I had no bad intentions towards you whatsoever.
I really hope you are gaining some insight about your forum attitude from all this.
You just can't resist, can you? I thought we had an understanding the other day when I unblocked you, we agreed to move an as adults. Remember? Guess you're not capable of holding your end of the bargain.
I'm just pointing out WHY people have a problem with you.
Why though? You don't speak for the community. You don't speak for everyone on this forum. Maybe a handful of guys agree with you, and even then, what makes you think you have to hold this against me and be their spokesperson towards me? I'm not bashing you after every nonsensical comment you place here, do I? Get off my back man.

Apology accepted and all I ask is logic win over chaos. I know that’s asking a lot for a forum but I have faith in yall lol. At first you choose to address only the chaos and that’s why I said what I said. Continue this trend of replying to the logical and well thought out replies to your questions and we will be all good. Take care and may the rng gods look over you.

Correct I speak for myself, I hold nothing against you, and again I speak for myself not anyone else. Actually you did bash me quite often. I'm simply hoping you realize now how off putting your posts are to other nembers.

A highlight real video could've saved this post. The screenshot only shows the pitch was around chest or numbers area. Strike zone is only 2 feet high in RL. (I may be wrong, I'm only certified to umpire LLWS)

The strike zone is from the letters to the knees. There's a visual box before you throw a pitch. You can argue all day about whether it should be possible to hit a HR or not, but I struggle to see the argument that this pitch wasn't at least neck level.

It would have been neck level IF it made it to the strikezone but it didn’t. It was contacted early in the swing and coming from a submariner who throws from his ankles, that means the ball most likely made contact with the bat only a few inches above the strikezone. Not where the white dot indicates.

FB at the letters, they get hit all the time. Sorry you lost the game though.

The strike zone is not defined at the letters to the knees. The official top of the zone is the midway point between the batter's shoulders and the top of his pants. It's determined by the hitter's stance as well, so if a player is crouched it does lower the zone.
The in game strikezone box changes hitter to hitter. It's impossible to have a good idea without knowing who hit the ball.

Here's a link to the game Gleybar Torres
I named it Gleybar Torres because that's who hit the ball. It also wasn't the first batter O'Day faced. He got two outs then gave up a double then the HR.
"O'Day pitching. Pederson grounded out to DeJong (6-3). Contreras grounded out to Bryant (5-3). Tellez pinch hit for Leclerc. Minter in bullpen. Tellez doubled to center. Reyes pinch runs for Tellez. Torres homered to left (387 feet). Reyes scores.*"
Knowing the power of either Torres card who is a top dot dominant hitter I can see how a high fastball middle of the plate from O'Day got hit for a HR.
Move along folks nothing to see here...

The absolute highest an MLB umpire will call a strike is 2 balls above the belt, this ball is letter high.

Yes, 2 balls above the belt, even that is stretching it, regardless of what the rule book says.

Trumbo hit one almost 5 feet off the ground , well above the strike zone for a home run a couple years ago, so yea it happens.

I hate technology in sports, but if human umps refuse to call the rule book then get something that will.

The rulebook defines the strikezone but doesn't state it has to be called a ball or strike. It's the umpire's discretion to call a ball or strike. It's a game played by humans and officiated by humans. To err is human.
Using a computer to do it changes the dynamic of the game to much. #GetTheBotOuttaHere

Unfortunately bad umpires have done this to themselves.

They don’t call it because the players hate it. I am all for electronic strike zone at some point, but if they call that big of a strikezone imagine what the strikeout totals would look like. Not good for the game.

I'd rather have 20 strikeouts a game than nothing but home runs. Maybe players can learn to have a professional at bat instead of being windmills.
