SDS, I bash you alot, and you deserve it, but I will also give you props when you deserve it. Here are my pros and cons after 3 RS games last night and this morning:
Pro:
In all 3 games that I played it felt the most like real baseball since I bought the game. The timing window seems to be mostly correct now, and while there are still a few good/okay anomalies, they are far less than I was seeing prior to last night and I think we can deal with them sporadically. The slider set you have in place for hitting I believe is good and should be left as is with no more tweaks.
Cons:
Pitch location could still use a small tweak, I dont think you have far to go to get it dialed in, perhaps one click on the consistency slider so that pitches still miss sometimes, but they miss in the area that you aimed them and its few and far between that they miss badly (unless you are using a pitcher with a terrible control attribute). This is key if we are getting better results with our hitting, as too many balls floated middle middle will result in too many HRs.
The bug that is pulling the fielder off the bag is still happening every game. This is mostly in instances where you are throwing to 2nd for a force out, but it is happening nearly every time you throw to 2nd for the force, but I have also seen it on plays at other bases as well, short throws that are on line 98% of the time. There was also an issue of picking up a ground ball with my 1B and him not responding when I pressed the button to toss it to the pitcher covering. I assume these can only be addressed with a patch?
