I bunt vs the shift whenever I can with CarGo. He's the only player who sees it with enough speed. You can exploit bunting to 2B but I'm not about that life.
Played a guy a few days ago that did nothing but bunt to 2nd. Nothing I could do to stop it, as long as he got the bunt down to 2nd it was a hit.
Counter that by manually moving your 2B "In". An old trick I used in 16 to counter bunting.
I moved him in after the second bunt, 3rd guy still beat it out.
It didn't matter because I picked him off trying to steal twice and he quit. I was just saying those bunts out to 2nd are very hard to stop.
I would have to say take a video the next time you can, with the 2B in on the grass you should get the runner. Seeing a video may help us diagnose what you need to do to combat the cheese. I drag bunt to 2nd rarely, with Mondesi sometimes, and I feel like if the 2B was in I would be out every time.
It's an absolute glitch in BR if you ever get Ty Cobb or Buxton. Huge help for ALC.

Havent played in a week decided to come and play since i am still a baseball fan. Finished the 3rd inning showdown so then i decided to play an event game. First pitch my opponent grounds to third i throw to first and my first basemen drops the ball. Um ok I got out of the inning. 2nd inning my opponent gets a single to left my left fielder standing right in front of the ball decides to do absolutely nothing but let the ball go by him allowing his man to get to second. Later in the inning that said player on second is now at third with 1 out. He takes him out and puts in mickey mantle obviously going for the squeeze bunt play. I purposefully throw a ball high and in to his right handed batter either it hits his batter or its a [censored] ball but nope successful bunt towards the first basemen. This game is the worst trash ive ever purchased.
I feel ya man. If you ever return if you sense a squeeze or something fishy always call for a pitch out then the cpu cant suck the ball into the bat for a bunt....its happened on steals too
