I've thought about this. I work in film so I definitely have the knowledge and technology. I'm going to do a little more research on this. If anything I'll research what some of the other YouTubeers do and start this next year on 2021. Gives me some time to get it right. I'll keep you all posted. I appreciate the support guys!

Joc Pederson contract extension 4/YR 35.00M. Back loaded with Platoon expectations. a club option of 12.00M. For a 5th year.

This used to be a thing up until a few years ago. Some guys made these REALLY in depth franchise threads. A lot more in depth than I am doing actually. I honestly don't know why they stopped. but I've missed reading them the last few years. So you could call this my silly little attempt to bring them back. I know some guys do YouTube franchises but I enjoyed the reading ones.
You might find that they’ve migrated to Operation Sports forum. Some dedicated franchise players there.

September 1st Update:
The dog days of August are in the past. September is upon us. 27 days remain in the regular season. 20 of the 30 teams need to be eliminated to shape the play off picture. so let's look around the leauge.
AL East: After spending most of the season in second and third a late August surge puts my Red Sox in first by 1.5 games.
AL Central: Twins lead by 11.5 games.
AL West: Astros lead by 22.0 games.
AL Wild Card: Yankees & Ray's take the top spots.
NL East: Braves lead by 4.0 games.
NL Central: Cubs Lead by 9.0 games.
NL West: Dodgers lead by 16.5 games and have already clinched a play off appearance with a 100-39 record.
NL Wild Card: Diamondbacks & Mets take the top spot.
Orioles, Tigers, Giants & Rockies have been eliminated in both their division and wild card standings.
26 teams remain. I will update as teams are eliminated.

Only thing I find odd is that there are really no playoff races, other than AL East, everyone is running away with it.

September 5th Update:
Astros Claim the AL West with a 96-45 record.
Mariners completely eliminated. 24 remain.

CP Workman to IL with broken foot.
SP Patino called up.
SP Mata first major league shut out.
3B Devers 100th career home run.

Marlins eliminated. 23 remain

Ps4 finally crashed. unfortunately it will be in the shop for several weeks. I will have to start a new franchise then. So I am retiring this thread. Thank you to those who followed. I will hopefully do this again next year on PS5 with possible YouTube videos through some recommendations. thank you again for turning in. Happy playing all
