I'm sick and tired of using my DD team against poor cou teams like the Orioles on rookie. Get runs, only to give up that many runs in the next inning to [censored] teams when I have 99 overall players and pitchers. SDS, you should be ashamed of yourself over this [censored].

I completely agree. There is no motivation for a gaming company that makes the majority of it's money on micro transactions to skew results in order to make more money.

no, SDS didn't script a specific results against the Orioles on Rookie, they did however program results from pitches, swings, and fielding. There is no way to make a game without doing so, AI isn't THAT advanced yet. In order to make a working game it is required to script outcomes of specific plays.
The OP is stating that the scripted outcomes favor the computer, most people would agree, and the motivation is money. Without money the game won't be here next year.
Now, you might be fine with them making more money so that we can have a game next year, it's certainly not immoral.
But to suggest it isn't happening shows a lack of understanding when it comes to the most basic programming concepts.

But I'm sure you are right, there is no scripting in the game. Through magic, the AI players now have brains and can make decisions for themselves without pre-determined outcomes programmed by SDS. I hope we can all have access to this new technology one day.

Maybe you tagged the wrong person. It's not my post, nor do I have issues on Rookie. I was simply stating that all sports games include scripting, it's impossible for AI to make decisions otherwise.
The OP is stating that the scripting is in favor of the computer, I tend to agree, as making the game too easy fails to encourage players to purchase micro transactions.

Is that the one where that German shfooyadel turns into a huge grasshopper? I read that. Hardly nothin about scriptin video games in there.
