I'm very glad they're so cheap! It allows me, the happy consumer to purchase products I want at a price I find reasonable
Agreed, or I can just rent one of them and then resell. I used Chipper Jones yesterday for a rental to get the Braves innings done. Guy hits rockets.
-
@ImDFC thats fair. You’re probably good at the game

Earning a boss card doesn't take any skill, which is why the prices drop over time. You earn stars just by playing, and the programs last for about 3 weeks. Most players get "earn" a boss, which is why the value drops, even if you only play an hour a day. Supply and demand dude.
Plus you already sold for 128k, why do you card about the value anymore?

@pbake12 i was referring to the price on Saturday... chipper was going for under 80k.... and there were only 6-7 buy orders at the time. I understand the price will drop 4-5 days after but going from 180k-70k in a day? That’s crazy

Yeah , it does seem crazy. However, the number of Chipper cards in circulation probably doubled in that day as well, so the price dropping 50% is in line with how buy/sell market works.

I would just message @TheHungryHole but put a restriction on private chats. Talks a big game but can’t back it up
im 21-4 in RS, 1.56 ERA, 0.51 WHIP
ill dust you any day of the week but you're not worth my time just a random voice on the internet spouting nonsense about markets lol what a TOOL
To add on - you are the guy who just got to 300 stars already within a couple days of the program going out - i am currently at 17 stars - what does this say about you?
-
@TheHungryHole... iThat’s a lie. Your ranked seasons record can’t be that good if you’re saying showdown is “too hard”... but It says that you’re not good at the game... because if you were good enough to get the card then you wouldn’t be on every forum trying to troll people about the market

@TheHungryHole youre a joke... plain and simple. No one cares about what you have to say. You put on a good front behind that computer screen but people see right through you. You know you’re a joke so just leave it at that. Beat a showdown and then come talk lmao
you realize that now you completely put yourself in a corner and went full on stupid right
baby behind a keyboard - everyone in this thread laughing at you and eventually you'll get muted by so many you'll just be hearing your own voice

That’s a great comeback @Ikasnu... almost took you two hours to come up with that. You’re a joke

I'm at 150 stars, but 90 are from vouchers. I bought Chipper early, finally get to use a good version this year. I planned on buying Victorino as well, he will hold RF down until I get Reggie, then Victorino can slide back to CF. When I seen Roberts and Victorino were around 80k, I bought them both.
I used the rest of the stubs from pulling Trout and Cy Young and selling Madrigal to get these three cards, but I liked the looks of all 3 cards. When I get to 300 they will probably be selling for 40k, but that is fine. I'm not going for Mantle so this seemed like a good way to get 3 cards I wanted, can get started on the prestige for each of them. And I got 17k back for locking them in.
I'm not great at the game, don't pretend to be. I think my RS record is 42-34, only in WC. I just like to use cards I can have fun with I guess.

No OP your a joke, and this thread is laughable. Honestly this thread should probably be locked before this gets even more out of hand (it's already a circus) You've already proven to us that you don't know how to use the market and would rather make arguments with respected members of the community. Must be nice for them though living rent free in your head.
