Is MTO rigged?

SDS

Playing on veteran, and although I'm not the best player I usually beat the CPU on All-Star and do not remember the last time I lost a Conquest game on veteran. Entered the first game of playoffs up 3-0 and lost 5-3. This is equivalent to losing a Conquest game 5-0. Seriously?

SDS

You're asking if It's rigged because you lost one game?

SDS

There is definitely a difference between playoffs and regular season. In the regular season you are almost always hitting against a teams middle reliever. Then you start the first playoff game against a good teams ace. I chalk it up to better competition, myself, not something more nefarious.

I think, if anything, it’s “rigged” in our favor. I’ve won the WS every time I’ve played MtO, and I’ve played with some really bad teams (Miami, White Sox x2, AZ, Colorado, KC, etc). Even with a few trades, none of these teams should be able to cruise through the postseason so easily. They clearly set us up to beat the game on the macro level, so don’t stress about losing one check-in.

Yeah I've won it numerous times with bad teams grinding for affinities and never really had anything that I would say it a set up or anything. Only one that really annoys me is the horrible balls and strike calls. I can't even count how many times I don't get the call on the strike when it's fully inside the zone and then give up a hit. Usually doesn't haunt me that much but has a couple of times. It's like every umpire is Angel Hernandez

I think you can change that in settings. There’s something like a perfect umpire choice.

I don't think that you can alter the settings for MTO can you?
