Opponent Pausing ?

Is it just me ? I don’t play online very much against other opponents. But what the [censored] literally every at bat why do you have to pause the game during pitch count ? Is this a glitch a Cheat ?

This is why I wish I could just play offline... the guy I just played was awful and I am not good and all he did was pause

Happens to me all the time. Keep an eye on the timer. If they go past the limit, hit square on the controller and it will cause the other team to automatically forfeit and you get the W no matter the score.

I had a guy who ran it down to one minute then didn’t do it for a few outs the timer went up to two minutes and then continue to do it after that

This annoys me.. The timer needs to be fixed, or sds needs to tells us exactly how it works. Tired of seeing it go down to 15 seconds then a bit later they are magically up to 2min plus.

They could be switching between directional and zone

usually when it happens to me the next pitch is perfect released goes down the middle and they get a free home run

This used to frustrate me but now I've learned those that do this are trash bags and think it's going to get to you, just sit back blaze a doobie and smile cus 9/10 times you get 1-2 runs they rage quit anyway

I quit a lot of games because it becomes so annoying. Sometimes I let the timer run, but more often I quit and move on.

I don't let the timer run, I don't pause. It's my opponent that does

I let my opponents timer run in hopes they come back in a reasonable amount of time

I find myself pausing often for the following reasons:
- If the HR banner is on the screen you ahve to pause to make it go away
- Pressing down on the D pad in order to set my defense for prevent bunt when you have a 99 speed player at the dish
- To check your player positioning when I have certain hitters at the plate. I always try to be late on pitches with lefties to go opposite field if you auto shift to the right side.
Less often reasons:
4) To answer a text message
5) Grab a beer
6) use the bathroomIf someone utilizing their pause time bothers you that much, then you shouldn't play ranked seasons

You can click the right stick to check fielder position.
