Just a thought...but when the season resumes he will probably be traded.
Wouldn’t it be smart to not buy or collect him and get the cubs and cardinals done (likely destinations)
-
Not sure. But would that make bellingers price jump? He’d be the only high diamond in the division at that point
-
Ah he’s not getting traded. He has a contract in place and the Rockies have no plans to move him. Nor does he want to move. He wants to be competitive. The Rockies made the playoffs two straight seasons. They aren’t that far away

Huh? They were 71-91 last year, finished 35 games behind the Dodgers.
2017 was a result of really bad teams, they finished 17 games back, just got a gift, and they weren't competitive in the post season. In 18 they made the wild card, won, then got swept. You must be a fan boy.
He's absolutely gone, the Rockies want the young pitcher the Cardinals just got Plus....the deal has been in the works for a while, COVID put it on hold. No one is going to make a trade until they know two things
1: Will there be a season
2: If there is no season, how will that impact current contracts
-
I wouldn’t mind to get that Ottavino for ~15k
-
Yeah, I remember playing the Manny Machado game in 2018...

The Rockies had 87 wins in 2017. That would have also got them the 2nd wildcard spot in the AL that season and they would have made the playoffs with 87 wins in 2016 or 2018 so 87 wins is not a gift. That is a legit season. They won 91 games in 2019. Any other team that won 75 games in one season, improved and won 87 and 91 then had one down year with 71. If they were any other team this would be considered a one year blip

Alrighty then, good luck with that! I wouldn't go placing bets in Vegas though....
