Connection quality and errors

Is there any relation between these? After getting the first two out in an event game I gave up four runs on routine ground balls to short and second.

You know the kind where your fielder just kind of runs past the ball? Anyway, I finally got out of the inning (of course the game rules all these errors as hits because I guess if it doesn’t touch your glove it’s a hit).

Now I’m batting and have men on second and third with one down and am suddenly in a freeze off.

What is up with the connection and lag these days?
