Who else hates the playoffs?!

Why in the world would they keep the momentum if it is never used? I get annoyed knowing that I have to play at least 4 to five innings in every game. Also, I think that there should be a way where you can counter offer a trade. If want a player, but don't want to give up the requested player, I lose a trade opportunity.
-
OMG, that is so true. My 'circle' could be a large orange, but I go in down 4-2? Ridiculous. What I think it does, however, is keeps your deficit very low, and makes your opponent swing at bad pitches, I've noticed, but great point. Since they patched the double points, I may play less now. Burnt out anyway.

I pretty much hate everything about MtO. Long, drawn out, no variety and very repetitive. They payoffs are just nightmare inducing to me now.
Double points made this mode palatable at least.....now, it's just mind numbingly boring with little to show for it.
Maybe institute the mercy rule.......you winning by in the 6th inning, game over. Right now, I, along with a lot of others I take it, get a 2 run lead and just bunt/bunt/bunt to end the inning quickly to have to go through it again.....and again......and again......and again.....and again.....and again.....and again.....and again.....and a...sorry, was on autopilot there for a sec.
For 50 or so TA points, the mode should take maybe 3 to 4 hours tops.....on par with Showdowns.

Seriously, momentum is messed up in playoffs. I finished off sweep in nlds with Strasburg. Came in with a no hitter going and actually finished it. Didn’t get any extra momentum for that just two for winning game.
Game one of nlcs with max momentum I am down by two in the 6th inning. Had 121 wins in regular season to. Went on to lose the game. I couldn’t even get a hit. I had at least 10 perfect and squared up hits that were all right at someone or diving spectacular plays.
I did go on to crush them the next four games but it was still annoying lol

The playoffs are a disaster and what makes the mode so monotonous. I had to start game 4 of the nlcs down 7-0 the other day when i had just won 120+ game in the regular season and swept my way through the nlds.

Playoffs really are a slog, and I feel like they probably take roughly 50% of the total time of a MtO runthrough. I wonder if it would be worth it just to reach the playoffs and then quit and start a new game. You can probably do 2 regular seasons in the time it takes to do 1 full season + playoffs. It would be slightly fewer TA points (44 points for two regular seasons on veteran vs 52 points for a regular season + post season on veteran), but it would probably be more fun.

Don't get to a game 7.... I think it always drops you into the top of the 1st.
-
My momentum was negative, but I just got dropped with my Rays into Game 1 of the ALCS against the Yankees, down 9-0 in the 5th. Yeah, thanks, I’ll get right on that against Cole, Kahnle and Chapman.

I’ve been thinking about this and I think there are two other factors that might affect this...
-
who are your starting pitchers?
-
what did you do in the previous game? Did you bunt to make outs?
I’m starting to think these are two big factors?
