Stage 1 Showdowns

Any chance we see the difficulties/outs remaining changed to match Stage 2 also so people have an easier time getting to stage 2?
-
I doubt it. You are almost better off do exchanges and missions to get to stage 2.

This ^, It's actually pretty cheap if you do commons, but it's also completely mind-numbing to put in hundreds and hundreds of orders.

I know it gets expensive quickly but I usually do 5 82s or 4 83s depending on price then add the 73 ovr and a common to complete each one.

I think I just have to bite the bullet and do the exchanges. Not what I want to do since I’m no money spent and also trying to finish collections (have Yanks, Mets, Nats and Dodgers left). But I don’t want to bother with those Stage 1 showdowns anymore and I’m kind of bored with MTO. I’ve hardly spent any time playing online this year, both because of the online B S and because my time is spent grinding so many other things like this.
-
No need, they're fine as they are. You can always play MTO instead to get those points.
-
It would be nice if they made the second showdown also be 20 outs. The 10 out showdowns are harder than the final showdown, especially with only having 1 diamond at the time.

If I'm putting in that many orders, you best believe there's going to be some flipping involved.
By the time you finish with those orders and such, would it not be less time consuming to do MTO or filling a roster of said team and grinding out 9 inning games vs cpu? -

Yup, I skip that 2nd one unless I have less than 6 runs, or a crappy team. I am able to beat the 3rd boss down 7-15 with 20 outs more often than I can beat that 2nd boss with 10 outs down 3.

Same, it's annoying though.

I mean it is nice if you do it and get by it, just did AL east again and I had a better vs LHP lineup so I took on Sale rather than go for Cole at 7-15. I beat Sale, but if course I was very low on outs when I got it done. Them won the 3 blues to go into Cole 13-15. So that was nothing. For that go round, I only failed Giles, which is essentially 6 outs to score at least 2 runs to tie and 1 to win on Veteran. I actually got down to only a couple outs vs Morton so I sweated that out and sweated out Sale. I actually blew right through most of the blues.
Honestly I finally am better at Showdown, but I think its because I had been playing RS and not the CPU. Still cant wait to be done with stage 1 TA.
