The reason it feels harder is because most of the pitchers have a sinker primary, nothing more, nothing less. To say its harder on veteran vs allstar is ludicrous
It’s not harder per se, but the pitchers on veteran seem to hit the black constantly, while the all star level pitchers hang more or get more plate on the pitch. Hitting wise it’s the same, but seems slightly better on all star with feedback. In both levels I have hit perfectly balls with decent power guys and it stops at the track

I’m dead serious, you can’t even move your pci to certain spots in the strike zone on veteran, yet cpu pitchers will throw perfect dots on the black. Also, pitch speeds are too slow and make it hard adjusting back to online play.

I mean, harder may not be the right word, but definitely less consistent. CPU pitchers on veteran throw strikes that your pci can’t even get to because the pci doesn’t cover as much of an area on veteran as it does on all star and above. That’s my biggest gripe with them being on veteran.

Lol do you guys even remember stage 1? The runners you need to bat in, don’t already start in scoring position. The mini bosses don’t have +12outs. Literally every part of stage 1 is harder than stage 2 so of course stage 2 is HaRdeR

3 quarters is bigger than one dollar because 3 is more than one.

I think the recent complaints are for 2 reasons:

with the new FS rewards people want cards they had no affinity points in and thus are trying to get to 70 quickly with showdowns

as people play showdowns more, they are realizing just how awful things like CPU defense and good/okay are in must win situations.

Not even joking, the blue moments are easier on veteran, but the actual showdowns I've had much more success on all star, due to being able to work counts and get the pitcher up to 150+ pitches and taking walks.

i really enjoy the mode this year far better than the previous years offline CPU grinding at Coors
