EDIT FOR THOSE WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND THE VIDEO. NO ONE EVER COVERS FIRST BASE WHILE MY OPPENENT RUNS BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN BASES. Sorry about the quality I was pretty hot lol
This was the last straw for me. Nevermind that my OF didnt lock on to catch the ball. But BT 9 1 out. Fine my of didnt lock. But then he has 2 men on second. For some reason i throw to home even though i pressed O. The video was cut short but i was longer, he ran back to second and third the retreated back to first again still there's NO ONE cover ing First. Both men safe, next batter walk off i lose. My opponent panicked a made base running mistake and i couldn't capitalize for whatever reason.
Maybe some one can explain this but either way I can't do it. I tried dealing with the inconsistent hitting and pitching, got better enough to start to overcome the rng, thougj its still frustrating. But things like this mixed with thw other inconsistencies puts the nail in the coffin.
Its not the fact that i lost. Its how i lost that just ruins the whole enjoyment of a good game against a good opponent. If he would of walked me off naturally with no Bs, would be mad. Yes, but id have no choice but to tip my cap cuz he earned it.
Had alot of high hopes for this game. This games does alot of good things but has too many ground breaking flaws for me. If you can srill enjoy it, no hate from me. But I can't.

SDS has no clue about baseball 101. It's all about coding to them and nothing more. There should be no reason why the 1st baseman should be trailing while SS/2B are running into the outfield. 2B shouldn't even be out there to begin with.
Kinda like knee high liners to the OF are 50/50 catchable balls now. Mantle can't even catch one at his thigh. But SDS is more worried about XP and coloring.

My picture has disappeared. No one is covering 1 Base. I thought i clearly explained that. He ran from first to no one on bag. I throw to home after pressing O. He then did it two more times after video(you can see his guy on second taking off) and there was never anyone covering 1B

No clue what that video was.
But I agree, the online play is laughable. Can’t even discern what parts of the outcome of any game were earned, which were RNG, which were a result of player attributes, patch adjustments.
Just too many [censored] factors combining for a random outcome

Sorry about the quality I was just hot while recording the replay, could of done a much better job. But no one was covering 1B. Should of been an easy out

Yeah I couldn't even understand what was goin on in the moment. Im jamming circle and nothing is happening. While my opponent just runs back and forth lol

Calm down guys. Just buy more stubs from SDS, they need our support. They can't create a solution without more money!

Its simple baseball. I see what OP was saying. This is a prime example of of a company and dev team that has never played baseball higher than JV level..
Some of this doesnt even make baseball sense.
