Has anyone finished the No-hitter or Perfect game moment?
-
I was 0-2 on no-no's because my fielders get stupid or my pitches float over the middle of the plate. I blew the Perfecto with deGrom because i trusted the catcher's
suggestion. For some reason, he called 4 STRAIGHT fastballs, high and outside! I was 2 outs from completing the 8th inning and foolishly trusted my catcher, so Yordan smokes a single to right in my latest attempt, blowing the PG. I did hold on for the shutout every time, if that's any consolation. -
I did for the first time today. After about 20 tries it felt like.
-
I completed it once with Griffin Canning, of all pitchers, against the rays. Got full player boost for the season and a lot of momentum.
I have failed that challenge at least 4 other times, though.
-
I had a perfect game with one of my call ups for the Yankees Deivi Garcia. Unbelievable moment. I think he struck out like 17/18 batters. Full player boost for me as well and like 8 stars of momentum.
-
I’ve finished 2 no hitters. I’ve played a lot of MTO’s though so I’d say I have had about 20 opportunities. Normally I end up gettin screwed in the 9th with a jammed blooper or a dreaded weak dribbler In front of my catcher who forgets how to stand up.
-
I finished a perfect game with Max Scherzer. Took two 9th inning crazy defensive plays to do it, but it happened.

I thought for sure the last hit was going to fall Torres made a unbelievable catch.

Steven Stras got one for me a couple of days ago. Most of the time, I end up pitching 1 hit shutouts. The bloopers are killer
-
I did it with JA Happ but didn’t get any credit for it or any player boost. The game was tied going into the bottom of the 9th and I was the home team. We won 1-0 and when the game finished I was like wtf. With all the bugs in the game tho it doesn’t surprise me
-
Two on veteran. I deem anything here is impossible.
-
Two with Garrett Richards of the Pads on Veteran.....failed all others.
-
I have but it took me forever. I have played it with 5 different teams. Only done it once
-
Something absolutely wild that happened to me in my Rays M2O was Yonny Chirinos had THREE straight starts where it dropped me into a no-hitter. Out of those three, I only managed to finish one.
Nonetheless, I thought it ridiculous.

With the same player? That’s interesting because I had to call up Nate Pearson TWICE in my jays MTO. The first time I got 3 +. Then I kept trying to put him in my starting rotation, and the cpu kept taking him out. At the deadline I traded for Kluber and it sent pearson down. So, a month later, Pearson got called up again. This time he got 1+. When I check, he still has 3+ on the main screen.
On a side note, why does it seem so much harder to pitch when you’re player locked?
-
I was doing one with Kershaw, ended up giving up a soft single with 2 outs in 8th, got pinch hit for in the bottom of the 8th, game was 0-0. And we ended up losing 2-0 so not only did I not finish the no hitter, the team took the L and lost a bunch of momentum
-
I just blew one with Greinke. Gave up one hit...and how? Because I didn't notice the grounder took the first baseman too far from the bag and I wasn't there to cover first.

With the same player, man!
Yonny Chirinos ended up finishing the season with a 2.28 ERA and came in second place in AL Cy Young voting. It was nuts. I probably should've screenshotted it but obviously the first one I had no reason to.
That would drive me insane! I'm at the All-Star Break in my second White Sox M2O and I have yet to have Michael Kopech, Dylan Cease, or Nick Madrigal get called up in either of them. It is maddening.

I actually finished it with Darvish, 0-0 in the 9th. Got my third out thinking I'm home free but we were the away team. Yu actually was allowed to hit in the bottom of the 9th with a guy on 3rd and I got a walk off single. I'm thinking wow that was cool but then got a challenge failed. Box score even said 0 hits allowed.

Just finished an Angels run..(.during which I was offered Bryce Harper....holy moly )
This came up twice for me. Actually completed it both times
