Which one carries more weight boys? I'm starting to lean more towards stance. Example, I'm playing Cardinals innings for the TA, I play a full team so I put Lane Thomas in LF. You would think I have prime Griffey or Mantle out there, 7 HR in like 6-7 games. He is a bronze 69 I believe and middling power but I just mash with him, same with Odor. They both play above their stats with me

    All-Star and below: Stance/swing
HOF+: ratings start playing a lot bigger role.

That's true, but later in the year all the cards will be 100ish and above so ratings won't matter too much. I'd rather play a card with a good swing/stance but lower attributes over a card with amazing attributes but with a slow and long swing. Good examples in previous years were guys like Miguel Cabrera, he always has great cards but his swing is usually just so long and slow that he's ineffective because of it. While cards like Corey Seager in MLBTS 17 was loved by everyone because of his quick and compact swing. His attributes were lower but he often performed regardless just because of that swing.

Gallo for example, I run into one every now and then but I can't hit with him at all, swing is too long and porous

The stance can help out the low attributes more so than attributes can help out a stance is how I feel. When they lower level cards sometimes get boosted to a diamond level you can really feel it.

I took Cargo second in the Evo packs, he’s amazing, so is Reggie Jackson who I’ve had about the same amount of time and used both for 150+ at bats. If you asked me now to delete one I wouldn’t even hesitate, that 99 Reggie is gone and I’m keeping Cargo who has lower hitting in basically every category. Reggie is still great, but for me Cargo is a whole other level.
