I'm at 2 doubles and 1 triple, well over 42 innings. He's got the most limp bat I've ever used in these games.

I gave up on the quest for the Jackie 88 Veteran card, diamond socks are as far as I am interested in pursuing. A lot of time and work for little reward. If it was his Signature card though I would be all in, that card was awesome.

I think I have 2/3 triples and 2 doubles. I just can't get in a groove with him in the conquest games, where you only get maybe 2 abs. I wish you could do it in play vs cpu too.

Number 4 or 5 starter i forgetat Fenway gives you a lefty starter. Just pull the ball off. The monster for doubles or towards left or right center for triples. Put Jackie first in lineup and if he doesn’t get a hit at first at bat, quit game and reset. Make sure your pitcher is someone you don’t care about the record on. Pretty easy to get it that way if you follow instructions. Get a double or triple then quit and restart.

I'm not sure how many innings I've been at it, but I did the US map a second time and when I finished I was at 5 doubles with 1 triple. Almost there!
What's really driving me insane is the 2 extra base hits and a steal moment. Almost every time I get one of the hits and the steal in my first or second at bat, but then I choke and do nothing for the rest of the game.
It's a lot of work for a mediocre card that probably won't even make my bench, but I'm a bit of an obsessive completionist with this game. From the highest diamond to the most worthless common, I want them all! It drives me crazy to see empty spots in my collection lol.

I had the doubles and triples finished before the inning requirement. I played against the Rockies at Coors (lefty starters) and power swing to right center. Their outfielders cant throw you out.

I gave up on that about a week after it came out. So many other better 2b options than that particular Jackie card (sad, cuz i liked using him last year). but i got 99 problems and dealing with those practically impossible missions ain't 1. not worth the headaches.
